Senior Product Designer (AI)

TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (AI): Leading design from problem framing to shipped solutions for AI-driven products, turning fuzzy concepts into real, testable products. Location: Hybrid (Berlin, Germany). Must be based in Germany and have the right to work there. Unable to sponsor a visa or provide support with relocation.

What you will do

• Lead design from problem framing to shipped solutions, including AI-driven and data-powered experiences.
• Turn early concepts, hypotheses, and opportunities into flows, interaction models, and prototypes.
• Design interactions for AI features such as automation, recommendations, and intelligent assistance, with a strong focus on clarity, control, and trust.
• Explore multiple solution directions before converging and design for end-to-end journeys.
• Create fast, high-quality prototypes to test ideas and align teams, including prototyping AI behaviors.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape scope, challenge assumptions, and improve product strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer working on complex digital products.
• Strong experience in 0-to-1 or major new initiatives.
• Proven experience designing AI-powered or data-driven product experiences.
• Strong understanding of how AI changes interaction patterns, user expectations, and mental models.
• Excellent interaction design, systems thinking skills, and strong visual and UX craft.
• High proficiency in prototyping across fidelities and proven ability to move from ambiguity to clarity.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI, copilots, recommendations, or automation-heavy products.
• Experience designing for complex workflows, platforms, or multi-stakeholder systems.
• Background in service design or systems design.
• Experience working in startup, scaleup, or innovation teams.
