TL;DR
Middle Java Developer (Java): Contributing to the design and implementation of new modules for the New Sports API team, with an accent on enhancing and optimizing existing features for performance and scalability. What you will do
- Write technical specifications and contribute to new module design.
- Enhance and optimize existing features for performance and scalability.
- Tune applications to meet real-time constraints.
- Develop and maintain unit and functional tests.
- Conduct code reviews and automate deployment processes.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, including pair programming.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Java SE software developer.
- Strong experience with object-oriented software design, data structures, and multi-threaded environments.
- Proficiency with Junit/TestNG for testing, JDBC, SQL/MySQL.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Passion for software development, unit testing, and writing clean, maintainable code.
Nice to have
- Experience with Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, Maven, Gitlab, Hazelcast.
- Performance tuning & optimization (profilers, garbage collection tuning).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
