System Support Engineer

What you will do

• Provide production incident and support request handling for business key users.
• Manage errors in messaging services and batch job failures.
• Troubleshoot application errors, documenting problems and resolutions.
• Participate in Incident and Problem management processes.
• Support, coach, and guide team members in your areas of expertise.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills to research and correlate information from disparate sources for root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of C# and code debugging.
• Good knowledge of MS SQL.
• Willingness to work with system users and solve production issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English to work with end users and Nordic colleagues.
• Be proactive and show initiative.

Nice to have

• Understanding of asynchronous communication using messages.
• Understanding of batch job process fundamentals.
• Experience with ITIL service operation processes and application support.
