What you will do

• Collaborate with teams across the business to build real value and shape the future of the company through product launches, partner integrations, and platform-wide improvements.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers, ensuring optimization for impact and continuous improvement in project delivery.
• Participate in the engineering leadership group to develop the engineering strategy and refine team-level approaches.
• Manage multiple direct reports and mentor engineers across the team.
• Contribute to the company's needs as required in a startup environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a software engineer with experience leading engineering teams.
• Fluent in one or more of: Frontend Javascript frameworks (Angular), Python.
• Experience with Front-End/UX design and prototyping, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, AWS, SQL.
• Confident in using technical expertise to influence key decisions about product and system design, building, and growth.
• Excited about supporting and growing a group of engineers, helping them become the best engineers they can be.
• Comfortable working through ambiguous problems with a high degree of autonomy.
• Treat everyone with integrity, respect, and kindness.
