What you will do

• Support daily, weekly, and monthly billing operations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Provide coaching, training, and development to other Billing Analysts on policies, systems, and complex contract interpretation.
• Oversee daily workflow, allocation, and prioritization of tasks for Billing Analysts, especially during month-end close.
• Deliver exceptional internal and external client service by promptly addressing complex billing inquiries and issues.
• Assist the billing manager in developing policies and procedures for the billing process and creating training materials.
• Proactively identify opportunities for leveraging machine learning and AI technologies to enhance billing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, assisting in new automated process implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance, with 3+ years in the field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience handling large data sets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and perform tasks independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication (written/verbal), interpersonal, time management, organizational, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with BillingPlatform, Salesforce, NetSuite, Power BI, and Zendesk.
• Background in a fast-growing SaaS, Fintech, or technology company, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
