Salary: $99,500–$125,000/yr

What you will do

• Lead management’s SOX risk assessment and scoping activities.
• Coordinate and oversee the SOX lifecycle with Internal and External Audit.
• Create a sustainable and scalable internal controls model through automation and standardization.
• Drive pre/post-acquisition internal control integration strategies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for system implementation or process change initiatives and their control implications.
• Lead and contribute to special projects cross-functionally within the accounting/finance group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA required.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting-related work, with at least 4 years in public accounting.
• Understanding of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SEC regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley, and COSO Internal Control Integrated Framework.
• Experience in designing, monitoring, and evaluating internal controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Business Suite (Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to commute to the Schaumburg, IL office two days per week.
