Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Tokyo, Japan

What you will do

  • Define and execute the end-to-end growth strategy across brand, performance, and CRM channels.
  • Manage an eight-figure USD annual budget with full accountability for growth outcomes.
  • Lead, hire, and coach a local team to scale operations in the Japanese market.
  • Develop culturally resonant and trusted messaging within a conservative, regulated healthcare category.
  • Drive growth experiments to increase monthly patient acquisition targets.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure a unified patient experience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or D2C.
  • Deep understanding of Japanese consumer behavior.
  • Fluent Japanese language proficiency is required.
  • Proven track record of scaling high-growth environments with commercial and analytical rigor.
  • Strong people leadership and ability to direct creative teams.
  • English proficiency is considered a strong plus.
