Salary: $150,000-$200,000 + equity

hirify.global is partnered with a new venture-backed consumer app is looking for a staff level Founding Engineer to build their first product and shape the company from day one.

What you will do

• Build the first version of a mobile app (iOS / React Native / Flutter).
• Architect backend systems (APIs, databases, auth, personalization pipelines).
• Integrate LLMs and AI-driven recommendations.
• Set engineering best practices, tooling, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
• Make foundational build vs. buy decisions.
• Influence product, culture, and technical vision as the company grows.

Requirements

• 5+ years building consumer apps end-to-end.
• Experience across the full stack (mobile + backend).
• Product intuition and care for delightful UX.
• Comfort working in small teams, building 0→1, and moving fast.
• NYC-based or open to being regularly in-person
