Cloud Security Engineer (AWS): Designing and building resilient and secure Cloud environments with an accent on proactively preventing security threats and developing secure cloud solutions. Focus on monitoring/analyzing logs for security incidents, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity, and implementing network/security Disaster Recovery procedures.

Location: Remote from Greece, with an option for hybrid work in Limassol.

hirify.global is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join their growing team and ensure information security.

What you will do

• Design and build resilient Cloud infrastructures protected against security threats.
• Develop and assess Cloud security solutions for systems, databases, and networks.
• Conduct assessments and recommend appropriate security controls.
• Monitor and analyze logs for security incidents and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Shape the company’s security policies, procedures, and standards for Cloud environments.
• Implement and test network and security Disaster Recovery procedures.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Information Security or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Information Security with a focus on Cloud Security.
• Deep technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with AWS services (IAM, SSO, VPC, S3, EC2, RDS, CloudTrail, WAF, etc.).
• Clear understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure and advanced knowledge of securing such environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and integrate well within a team.

Nice to have

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.
• Experience in DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience building and deploying applications to the cloud using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Expertise in container security.
