What you will do

• Hire, mentor, and grow the pre-sales team of Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers in Italy.
• Build a motivated collaborative culture within a hyper-growth team.
• Support increased return on investment of SA involvement in sales cycles.
• Ensure a solution and value-based selling approach within the field-engineering organization.
• Engage with key customer executives to build and strengthen strategic partnerships.
• Build Databricks' brand as a member of the Leadership team in partnership with Marketing and Sales.

Requirements

• Experience managing a team of successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals.
• Experience in consumption-based business environments.
• Success in instituting processes for technical field members to lead efficiency and product focus.
• Ability to partner and collaborate with Sales and other cross-functional leaders.
• Passion for the data and AI market and Cloud software models, delivering a strong point of view on Databricks solutions.
• Technical or consulting background in Data Engineering, Database technologies, or Data Science.
• Italian native-speaker and English: C1 (fluent) required.
