Project Management Officer Analyst - Trainee (Fintech): Supporting the PMO Lead and Transformation team to track initiatives and KPIs across various IT teams, focusing on continual improvement and implementing new controls. Focus on leveraging close contact with IT and business stakeholders to ensure the quality and on-time delivery of activities and projects in financial markets.

Location: Based in Porto, with colleagues in different locations (France, Italy, Portugal, The Netherlands, Ireland and others).

What you will do

• Assist in the collection and analysis of KPIs from various IT teams, maintaining the KPI framework.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations based on KPI findings to IT management and group stakeholders.
• Aid in the development and dissemination of communications within the IT teams, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Help in organizing and coordinating weekly workshops with IT management, taking minutes and tracking follow-up actions.
• Provide administrative and project support to the PMO Lead and assist in transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Project Management and how to design, build and maintain software within the financial sector.
• Basic understanding of Data Analysis and KPIs.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English. Italian or French is a plus.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jira or similar Project Management tools.
