What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage end-user computing infrastructure (VDI, application delivery, remote access).
• Oversee deployment and management of technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Package, deploy and manage applications across end-user devices and virtual desktops.
• Implement and enforce security policies for compute endpoints, including antivirus, encryption, and data loss prevention.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the end-user computing environment.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools (PowerShell, Python) to streamline operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7-10 years of experience in end-user computing or desktop engineering.
• Proven experience with VDI technologies, application delivery platforms, and remote access solutions.
• Strong background in managing Azure Virtual Desktop or similar technologies.
• Expertise in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell and Python.
• Deep understanding of security principles and exceptional troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.

Nice to have

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security models.
• Experience with administering Azure or AWS networks and server instances.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC tools.
