iOS Engineer Intern

Location: This is a hybrid role that requires in-office collaboration three days per week in either Los Angeles or Palo Alto, California.

Salary: $47 per hour

What you will do

• Collaborate on the development, implementation and functionality of hirify.global's newest features and platform architecture.
• Build robust, lasting, and scalable products that serve millions of users.
• Work on systems that handle billions of data events a day.
• Leverage large scale multi-channel communications to keep users well-informed (push notifications, emails, in-app messaging, and more).
• Write unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• Aspiring iOS developer who’s excited to work on large scale challenges with cutting-edge technology.
• Proficiency in coding with Swift.
• Foundational knowledge of basic Computer Science principles: data structures and algorithms.
• Currently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Prior Internship or work experience on a native mobile application.
• Completed mobile project experience (i.e. hackathons, personal projects, GitHub, Open Source, volunteer coding experience etc.).
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as MVC, MVVM, Viper etc.
• Aware of native app development tools/concepts like Xcode, Core Data, Core Animation, Dependency Injection, Combine, SwiftUI, UI Kit.
