What you will do

• Architect and develop scalable, full-stack services for satellite constellation operations.
• Shape tools and reporting to scale the efficiency of satellite operations with a strong product mindset.
• Own projects end-to-end, from design and prototyping to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Collaborate with space systems, product, and other software engineering teams.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical excellence.
• Contribute to quality through code reviews, testing, and process improvements.

Requirements

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
• 5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience with proven impact across multiple systems and teams.
• Strong expertise in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React) and developing applications in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Experience taking complex manual processes and developing automated services and processes.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operations.

Nice to have

• Preference for experience with Python libraries for astrodynamics.
• Previous experience with space operations teams and technologies.
• Familiarity with the geospatial and Earth observation sector.
