Location: Hybrid in Germany (Berlin, Leipzig, Potsdam, Oranienburg, Brandenburg, Dresden), with required office attendance 2-3 times a week in Berlin.

What you will do

• Support People Operations in Europe, with a special focus on Germany.
• Own events and engagement activities for the team and act as a culture ambassador.
• Ensure the Berlin office is a thriving hub for employees.
• Support with payroll and benefits in Europe, in collaboration with external providers.
• Maintain and update employee data and files, including contracts and work permits.
• Steer onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle processes for employees across Europe.
• Maintain and improve HRIS (Personio), ensuring accurate data and efficient reporting.
• Own health & safety tasks in Europe and support ongoing compliance topics.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in People Operations, ideally in start-ups or international environments.
• Agile, outgoing mindset paired with creativity to foster innovative, engaging people initiatives.
• Knowledge of German labor, tax, and social security law is required; European legal understanding is a plus.
• Proficiency with HRIS tools (preferably Personio) and strong process management skills.
• Tech savviness to automate and digitalize tasks using internal applications.
• Fluency in German (C1+) and strong English communication skills are required.
