What you will do

• Lead a distributed Build and Test team, overseeing core build and continuous integration systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, product management, and leadership to align on problem-solving.
• Unblock obstacles for team members in critical problem areas, utilizing async and real-time communication.
• Ensure the team produces robust architectural designs, secure and resilient systems, and quality code.
• Iteratively ship features and bug fixes, balancing speed to market with future velocity.
• Conduct 1:1s, provide feedback, and support career growth for direct reports.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline, with 3+ years in people management.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software.
• Experience leading or owning large-scale CI/CD and build systems, focusing on reliability, performance, and developer experience.
• Proven ability to run operationally critical platforms, including incident response, on-call leadership, and observability.
• Track record of cross-team collaboration and influence to drive best practices.
• Familiarity with test infrastructure and quality challenges at scale.
