SWIFT Implementation Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support client onboarding and project execution for complex financial solutions.
• Contribute to solution design, concept documents, and provide advice on technological considerations.
• Conceive assignments for adjustments in SWIFT and third-party applications, including connection concepts.
• Install and configure financial services components across various environments.
• Collaborate with teams and customers to analyze root causes and provide support for issues.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SWIFT, financial services, business analysis, or technical project delivery.
• Educational background in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or comparable experience.
• Good knowledge of national and international payment transactions and securities business.
• Experience in specifying technical and functional requirements.
• Strong analytical approach, willingness to learn, problem-solve, and take ownership.
• Well-organized, structured approach with ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse team environments.
• Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written).
• Valid work and residence permit for Germany is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Remedy.
• Experience with transfer protocols such as SFTP, MQ, AS2, RVS, and WebServices.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of XML.
• Experience with Windows Services and Deployment.
