TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Go/React): Designing and building high-quality, scalable distributed software applications and features for a fintech and retail platform with an accent on API design, database performance, and scalability. Location: Remote from Poland

Salary: $8,000–$11,500 USD per month (Gross)

What you will do

  • Design and develop software applications and features using Golang and React.
  • Build and scale distributed architectures, ensuring consistency and high performance.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to design market-winning products.
  • Develop metrics for continuous improvement of existing products.
  • Lead small development teams and mentor engineering teammates.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
  • Experience with Go (preferably), Java, Python for building REST APIs.
  • Experience with distributed, cloud-based architectures (transactional outboxes, RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka).
  • BS in Computer Science or a similar degree.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SQL RDMS through an ORM tool.
  • Comfortable using observability platforms like Prometheus, NewRelic, or Datadog.
  • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with containerized micro-service architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS.
