What you will do

• Strive for continuous deployment of both applications and infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Maintain and support existing deployments of in-house and 3rd party services.
• Build, maintain, and configure automated deployment pipelines.
• Participate actively in discussions to identify issues and continually improve the overall system.
• Monitor systems, identify performance issues proactively, and manage incidents appropriately.
• Act as an enabler for innovation in new tools, technologies, processes, and techniques.

Requirements

• In-depth AWS experience deploying and monitoring production containerized services.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Cloudformation/Terraform and Jinja2.
• Experience with serverless and container deployments (Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
• Proficiency in scripting for automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Shell.
• Experience developing in a source-controlled workspace (Git) and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Concourse).
• Experience in deploying and managing relational database technologies (MS SQL, MySQL/Postgres) with a background in software development.
• Understanding of the software engineering life cycle, including design, architecture, test automation, deployment automation, monitoring, and alerting.
• Linux experience with Amazon Linux/CentOS/Redhat/Ubuntu Distro.
