Docops Engineer (Configuration Engineer)

TL;DR

Docops Engineer (Configuration Engineer): Maintaining and developing documentation testing frameworks and improving documentation publication pipelines with an accent on PowerShell and Python scripting. Focus on automation, working with APIs, and implementation of new systems for the technical writing team.

Location: Hybrid in Prague or Warsaw. Remote job is only possible in case the employee is located in the Czech Republic.

What you will do

• Maintain and develop documentation testing frameworks (PowerShell, Python).
• Maintain and improve documentation publication pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, Abode AEM, Veeam Help Center).
• Participate in projects for the implementation of new systems for the technical writing team.
• Perform work on the analysis and selection of new systems/applications.
• Install and maintain applications in the production environment.
• Write instructions for internal knowledge base systems, perform live demos for the technical writing team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of scripting programming languages: Python (intermediate level) and PowerShell (upper intermediate level).
• Knowledge of Markdown and XML for documentation and formatting.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins).
• Experience with APIs (Rest API, Graph API).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Experience with the Atlassian product stack (Jira, Confluence).
• If the applicant is permanently present outside of the Czech Republic, Veeam reserves the right to refuse to consider the application for a job. Remote job is only possible in case the employee is located in the Czech Republic.

Nice to have

• Desire and passion to automate everything.
• Experience in the development of React apps.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in administering virtual and cloud platforms (VMware vSphere, AWS).
• Experience with API specification standards (OpenAPI, OData).
• Knowledge of programming languages at entry/intermediate level (C# preferably).
