What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain SDKs and reusable libraries to support scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Evaluate, test, and implement data governance tools, including data catalogs and analyst enablement tools.
• Automate the integration and deployment of data governance and platform tools across the broader hirify.global Cloud platform.
• Collaborate with other engineers through pair programming and code reviews to promote high-quality, maintainable code.
• Take ownership of features end to end, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with distributed data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and/or Kafka.
• Strong proficiency in Python for building data pipelines, SDKs, and automation.
• Solid DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Strong command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Practical experience designing and building end-to-end data pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in a JVM-based language such as Scala or Java.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
