TL;DR

Technical Billing Support Engineer: Providing expert-level billing technical assistance and resolving complex billing and invoice product issues with an accent on troubleshooting software, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure. Location: Onsite in Spain (Barcelona or Santander)

What you will do

  • Respond to complex inbound billing and technical service requests directly with customers via phone and email.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems across software, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure.
  • Reconcile invoicing with vendor invoices or SAP and process credits and debits as needed.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation and lead incident response or participate in on-call rotations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and vendor teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Support multiple cloud and hardware solutions and handle support requests from resellers.

Requirements

  • Experience with billing and invoicing systems, including processing credits and debits.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, SaaS platforms, APIs, databases, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to work onsite in Spain (Barcelona or Santander) with some weekend and late hours availability.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk and Jira, and basic Linux environment knowledge.
  • High school diploma required; secondary degree preferred.

Nice to have

  • ITIL and Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Programming/scripting experience (Bash, Python, PowerShell, PHP) and SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with virtualization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
