What you will do

• Own the design and long-term evolution of a core audio simulation and data generation system.
• Model realistic audio signal chains, spanning acoustic environments and capture conditions.
• Translate real customer and production audio into simulation assumptions.
• Develop efficient DSP implementations that scale from large-scale offline data generation to real-time and streaming use cases.
• Build and maintain tooling and abstractions for configurable and reproducible audio simulations.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in digital audio signal processing and acoustics with a strong mathematical foundation.
• Proven experience designing and implementing realistic audio simulations and transformations.
• Strong systems engineer with experience turning research into robust, high-performance production code.
• Strong proficiency in Python for rapid development and tooling.
• Ability to write highly efficient low-level code in at least one of Rust, C, or C++.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, taking ownership, and making pragmatic engineering decisions in a startup environment.
