Senior Cloud Consultant - Data & GenAI Engineer (AI): Building and operating end-to-end ML workflows and modern data architectures for AWS cloud-based solutions with an accent on GenAI use cases and MLOps. Focus on designing and implementing data pipelines, deploying and maintaining ML models, and guiding customers on GenAI adoption.

Location: Remote-friendly setup with limited travel (max. 25%). Regular team & afterwork events take place in Hamburg, Vienna, Belgrade and virtually.

What you will do

• Build and operate end-to-end ML workflows.
• Design and implement modern data architectures and data pipelines.
• Deploy and maintain ML models using AWS SageMaker.
• Implement Generative and Agentic AI use cases using the AWS ecosystem (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Strands Agents, S3 Vectors).
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and support pre-sales activities.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to internal standards, best practices, and trainings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cloud, data or ML engineering.
• Proven hands-on expertise with AWS.
• Solid experience in data engineering and ETL architectures.
• Practical MLOps experience (model deployment, monitoring, lifecycle).
• Very good Python skills.
• Proven experience with IaC (Terraform or comparable).
• Fluent in English.
• Consulting or customer-facing project experience.
• Experience with Generative AI projects.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications.
• German skills.
• Experience in pre-sales or technical leadership roles.
