Senior Cloud Consultant - Data & AI Engineer: Designing and implementing scalable AWS architectures for data platforms, ML workloads, and GenAI solutions with an accent on MLOps setups, security, and reliability. Location: This role is based in Austria (Vienna) with a remote-friendly setup allowing for limited travel (max. 25%). Regular team events are held in Vienna, Hamburg, and Belgrade.

What you will do

• Design scalable AWS architectures for data platforms, ML workloads, and GenAI solutions.
• Lead the implementation and operation of data pipelines, MLOps setups, and GenAI solutions.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability in production environments.
• Build and operate end-to-end ML workflows, deploying ML models using AWS SageMaker.
• Implement Generative AI use cases using AWS Bedrock and guide customers on pragmatic and responsible use.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, support pre-sales activities, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in cloud, data, or ML engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS.
• Solid experience in data engineering and ETL architectures.
• Practical MLOps experience (model deployment, monitoring, lifecycle).
• Very good Python skills.
• Proven experience with IaC (Terraform or comparable).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Consulting or customer-facing project experience.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications.
• Experience with Generative AI projects.
• Experience in pre-sales or technical leadership roles.
