What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and databases using Azure Data Services for both structured and unstructured data.
• Optimise and monitor database performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Develop, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
• Automate data processes and provide analytical support through data extraction, transformation, and interpretation.
• Create and optimise Power BI dashboards and models, including DAX tuning and data modelling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
• Strong proficiency in SQL development and optimization, with good knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Extensive experience in developing complex dashboards and reports, including DAX.
• Knowledge of at least one data analysis language (Python, R).
• Must be located in or able to relocate to Switzerland or India (without sponsorship).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud is advantageous.
