Product Designer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Product Designer (Fintech): Designing core customer experiences for a global payment platform, focusing on how money enters the system, account management, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Focus on navigating complex constraints, influencing product direction, and raising design quality across the organisation.

Location: Hybrid with requirement of 1-2 days a week at our London Office (Shoreditch High Street). Work from anywhere for up to 45 calendar days a year.

What you will do

• Design customer experiences at the core of how customers fund, manage, and operate on the platform.
• Shape how money enters the system, how customers set up and run their accounts, and ensure financial data is recorded accurately, securely, and compliantly.
• Own design within the Treasury Team, spanning customer-facing journeys and internal operational workflows.
• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to drive impact and influence product direction.
• Evangelise product design and best practices, increasing customer-centricity and design quality.
• Balance deep user empathy with business understanding, designing for both customer needs and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A well-rounded product designer with strong visual skills and a high level of design craft.
• Experience designing fintech or payments related products.
• Ability to translate design concepts into production, collaborating with engineering teams.
• Experience collaborating across teams and domains, contributing to broader initiatives.
• Ability to draw on a full range of Product Design skills to discover, design, and deliver engaging, well-crafted, end-to-end experiences.
