What you will do

• Develop features, enhancements, and bug fixes for Longhorn (written in Go and C).
• Participate actively in Harvester, Longhorn, Rancher, and Kubernetes open-source communities.
• Evangelize technologies via blogs, meetups, and conference talks.
• Resolve issues uncovered in production deployments.
• Collaborate with engineers and customers to create a world-class product.
• Write high-quality code along with accompanying tests.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a technical field.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Comfortable working in modern Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux systems.
• Fluency in languages like C/C++, Go, Bash, Python, and/or Java.
• Experience in building maintainable and well-tested code.
• Demonstrable troubleshooting and debugging ability.

Nice to have
