TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack): Building and enhancing a world-leading hotel commerce platform with an accent on cloud-based microservices architecture, micro-frontend development (Vue3), and internal tooling. Focus on refining product requirements, delivering high-quality, testable code, and making appropriate trade-offs in performance, robustness, and extensibility.

Location: Hybrid (Philippines, Manila)

What you will do

  • Refine, design, and deliver product requirements.
  • Work with a cross-functional team in an agile methodology.
  • Participate in the roadmap, release, and sprint planning.
  • Write clean, well-organised, and testable code.
  • Make appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, and extensibility.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in multiple languages, including Node.js and Ruby on Rails, for backend systems.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js.
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2, Kinesis, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda, and S3.
  • Competency with database technologies like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of Docker and CI/CD systems.
  • Ability to work independently on projects from inception to production with a cross-functional mindset.

Nice to have

  • Experience with TypeScript and/or Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of APIs and frameworks such as REST, GraphQL, Apollo, Express, and Spring Boot.
