What you will do

• Research assigned topics related to fishing, outdoor recreation, and small businesses.
• Write 4–5 high-quality, SEO-optimized articles per week following provided briefs and guidelines.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and originality.
• Apply SEO best practices provided by the team, including keywords, headings, and internal links.
• Format articles according to brand and publishing guidelines, sourcing and placing images when needed.
• Collaborate with the Web Content Manager and marketing team to continuously improve content quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional content writing experience (applications with sample work will be prioritized).
• Excellent written English with strong grammar and attention to detail.
• Experience writing blog or long-form content.
• Ability to research unfamiliar topics and write clearly and confidently.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with SEO writing.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
• Experience writing for tech, SaaS, or outdoor-related industries.
• Basic image sourcing or layout experience.
