Senior Devops Programmer (Gamedev): Architecting, building, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure to support hirify.global games with an accent on services for the games and services to support development. Focus on building and maintaining AI/ML platform services in the cloud.

Location: Rockville, MD; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Montreal, Quebec. Candidates will be considered for any of the four hirify.global office locations.

Salary: $105,000 - $225,000 per year. The applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to support hirify.global games
• Provide technical leadership within the group, code review, and mentor junior team members
• Plan, organize, and control multiple responsibilities to achieve project objectives
• Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to processes and tools
• Lead and participate in team or customer meetings as necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience building and architecting distributed applications in a multi-cloud enterprise environment using IaC and modern containerization systems
• 5+ years of engineering experience deploying virtual machines, containers, applications, and dependent infrastructure to AWS or Azure
• Significant programming experience beyond just scripting
• Expert at cloud configuration management solutions
• Previous on call experience where you can identify root causes of issues and fix most issues independently
• Previous experience in building and maintaining AI/ML platform services in the cloud
• B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• Certified in Basic Security Principles in at least one cloud platform
• Certified in Cloud Account Administration in at least one cloud platform
