Accountant (SaaS)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Analyze P&L and balance sheets, producing accurate month-end financial reports.
• Handle purchase and sales deferments, intercompany billing, and subscription accounting schedules.
• Apply knowledge of transfer pricing requirements, VAT return filings, and group accounting.
• Support monthly close, audits, and compliance activities.
• Identify process gaps and implement automation or internal controls to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA or CPA in progress is a plus).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred), Salesforce, and Stripe.
• Strong understanding of subscription-based revenue models and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.) and hands-on experience with procure-to-pay (P2P) processes.
• Proven experience implementing or working with accounting/finance automation tools.
• Knowledge of accounting, tax, and personnel-related laws and regulations.
