What you will do

• Operate and continuously improve production platform services across on-prem and hosted environments.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management for VMs, networking, and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters and core components, improving day-2 operations.
• Operate and improve CI/CD infrastructure and deployment tooling.
• Own platform observability: log pipelines, dashboards, and alert rules.
• Respond to incidents/outages, deliver fixes, and keep runbooks and documentation current.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a DevOps / Platform Engineering role.
• Strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals, Linux systems administration, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience operating IaC and automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD systems).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues end-to-end across infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong aversion to manual configuration and UI-driven changes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch / ELK Stack / ECK.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Puppet, Proxmox, and Datadog.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python.
• Familiarity with Windows administration and PowerShell scripting.
• Competence in the German language.
