Focus on moving from concept to production-adjacent implementation, influencing product direction through hands-on creation, and ensuring interaction quality, usability, and system-level thinking.

Location: Must be based in Amsterdam (hybrid work environment, 1-2 days at the office)

What you will do

• Contribute to discovery workflows using user research, competitive analysis, and AI-assisted exploration to help shape problem definitions.
• Build interactive prototypes and functional flows, translating UX direction into high-quality, production-adjacent, desktop-first web interfaces.
• Shape and maintain hirify.global’s web design system, applying strong interaction, visual craft, usability, accessibility, and system-level thinking.
• Introduce and operationalise AI-powered workflows to speed up design, prototyping, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Mobile, Engineering, and other teams to ensure conceptual consistency across platforms.
• Validate financial and user flows in real environments to ensure the web product scales with future complexity.

Requirements

• Strong experience in frontend engineering (React/Next or similar).
• Ability to rapidly prototype and turn concepts into functional experiences.
• Excellent collaboration skills with Product and Design partners.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping first-version experiences.
• Proven experience using AI as part of your design and engineering workflow for generating UI, exploring component variants, or translating Figma to code.

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems or hybrid design-engineering roles.
• Background in financial products or complex workflows.
