Senior Marketing Manager, Reactive Comms Accelerator: Leading bold, real-time activations and high-impact stunts for iconic brands with an accent on cultural trendspotting and disruptive content delivery. Location: Hybrid, requiring 40% (two days) in an office site in one of the following locations: Edinburgh, Bristol, Chester, London or Halifax.

Salary: £76,194 - £89,640 (London based salaries start from £90,440).

What you will do

  • Own and deliver the reactive marketing strategy, identifying cultural moments for high-impact brand activations.
  • Make real-time decisions to seize opportunities, balancing creativity with compliance for rapid content delivery.
  • Monitor social trends, news, and cultural shifts to identify opportunities for newsworthy stunts and collaborations.
  • Ensure reactive activations are seamlessly integrated with wider campaign activities across all relevant touchpoints.
  • Assess reputational risk and ensure all reactive activity adheres to brand guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of activations, capturing insights for continuous improvement in speed and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to act quickly and decisively, delivering high-quality activations at speed without compromising brand integrity.
  • Deep understanding of cultural trends, social behaviours, and the zeitgeist to leverage moments for brand relevance.
  • Experience in pushing boundaries to deliver bold, disruptive activations and stunts that spark conversation.
  • Skilled at making rapid, informed strategic decisions on how the brand should show up to maximise impact.
  • Ability to ensure reactive activations are seamlessly connected to wider campaign activity.
  • Strong capability to assess reputational risk in fast-moving situations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
