What you will do

• Drive the technical roadmap for Ad Marketplace and Pacing teams to optimize ad spend and delivery.
• Design, implement, and scale ML models and control systems for high-performance ad auctions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ML strategies with company objectives.
• Apply best practices for availability, scalability, and operational excellence in production systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to influence the broader ML engineering community.
• Evaluate complex trade-offs and deliver innovative ML solutions for product requirements.

Requirements

• Must have 9+ years of post-Bachelor’s ML experience (or equivalent advanced degree experience).
• Must have 2+ years of experience in technical leadership or domain expertise.
• Strong understanding of ML and deep learning algorithms for advertising, recommendation, or search.
• Proven ability to train, deploy, and optimize state-of-the-art ML models for scale.
• Excellent software engineering skills with a focus on clean, production-ready design.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentorship capabilities.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in machine learning, computer vision, or mathematics.
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Background in online advertising, online two-sided markets, or job matching platforms.
• Track record of contributions to AI publications.
