Software Engineer, Fullstack

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fullstack): Building and optimizing complex solutions for business process automation and new product capabilities with an accent on customer journey, product quality, and performance tuning. What you will do

• Work with engineering and business partners to define and build complex solutions.
• Lead solution development end-to-end for new innovations with iterative improvements.
• Develop business logic to empower web and mobile applications via RESTful APIs.
• Design and develop services in a serverless AWS architecture.
• Work in an agile development environment, maintaining user story and task status.
• Conduct code reviews, create pull requests, and respond to peer and manager feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial software development (Typescript, Javascript, Java, C#, Scala, Python, Go)
• 3+ years developing service-oriented applications
• 1+ year reactive web development (Vue, React, or Angular)
• Strong command of SQL and MySQL
• Proficient with Git, branch development, and pull requests.
• Proficient with Agile Scrum, Azure DevOps or Jira.

Nice to have

• Experience with API Gateway, SQS, S3 and other AWS services.
• AWS Certified Solution Architect or AWS Certified Developer.
• Experience with Snowflake and FiveTran.
• Knowledge of veterinary and pet resort management software (e.g., Cornerstone, AviMark).
