TL;DR

Regional APAC Treasurer (Fintech): Leading and strategizing treasury activities across the APAC region with an accent on regional banking strategy, optimizing balances, liquidity, and managing multi-currency processing and financial/FX risks. Focus on overseeing a large team, influencing global decision-making, and driving business growth within the digital economy.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in office) in Singapore or Tokyo

What you will do

  • Provide strategy, direction, and oversight for all Treasury activities across APAC within the Group framework.
  • Act as the senior contact and escalation point for senior management and regional stakeholders.
  • Manage and lead a team of 10+ people across Singapore and Tokyo offices.
  • Partner with APAC Commercial leadership to drive long-term business growth.
  • Optimise regional balances, liquidity, and investment revenue using corporate banking & FinTech partners.
  • Oversee multi-currency processing, settlement, payouts, and manage hedging to mitigate financial and FX risks.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in financial institutions, including managing a Treasury team internationally.
  • Experience working with senior management, sales, clients, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Confidence in synthesizing and presenting information to senior audiences.
  • Financial modeling and analytics experience.
  • Highly analytical, strategic thinker with strong judgment and foresight.
  • Track record managing a fast-growing team.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Payments (Acquiring/Issuing).
