What you will do

• Design and develop Java functionality following existing coding standards.
• Write unit and integration tests, and contribute to code reviews.
• Work within a self-organizing agile team to design, build, and run products hosted on-premises and in the cloud.
• Review and refactor existing code to improve the platform's reliability and performance.
• Deliver value incrementally in sprints, ensuring product quality.

Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related scientific/engineering field.
• 2+ years of software development experience using Java.
• 2+ years of experience working in agile teams.
• Experience in developing RESTful applications with Spring Boot.
• Experience with both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases.
• Comfortable with Unix/Linux environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience developing in a microservices architecture using Docker containers.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Maven and Jenkins.
