TL;DR

.Net C# Software Engineer (AI): Modernizing the expense management platform through AI, designing and developing software applications using .NET 8 as part of an agile team with an accent on design scalable systems and write robust, maintainable code. Focus on unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration to ensure quality.

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET 8.
Design scalable systems and write robust, maintainable code following best practices.
Contribute to architectural decisions and codebase improvements.
Help in modernizing the product through AI.
Ensure quality via unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, DevOps, Support and Product teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
4-5 years of experience in software development.
Solid experience with implementation of REST APIs, .NET 8 C# and SQL Server.
Experience working in cloud environments, ideally Azure.
Fluent English, any other language is a plus
Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and make smart use of AI tools.

Nice to have

Proven knowledge of Microservices and Onion architecture with DDD principles.
Experience in various AI technologies usage and integrations.
Experience in the fintech industry (or similar).
Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies.
