What you will do

• Clean-up motion capture data to a high standard, working closely with the Lead Animator.
• Improve rough animation into final production-ready assets, preserving actor’s intent, timing, and performance.
• Ensure shots meet studio quality standards and production deadlines.
• Follow established pipelines, naming conventions, and file-management practices.
• Maintain continuity of animation quality throughout tasks and projects.
• Coordinate with producers and supervisors to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an animator in a studio production pipeline.
• Strong understanding of animation principles.
• Experience animating humanoid characters, creatures, props, and weapons.
• Experience with cleaning motion capture data.
• Creative problem-solving for animation-related tasks.
• Excellent English skills are a must – Spoken and written.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software like Maya and Motion Builder.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a AAA game title or high-end film production.
• Previous experience on large-scale productions or long-form projects.
• Familiarity with various animation scripts, rigging, and motion capture systems.
• Familiarity with communication tools such as Slack, JIRA, and Confluence.
