What you will do

• Clean up motion capture data to a high standard, collaborating with the Lead Animator, internal team, and clients.
• Refine rough animation into production-ready output, preserving the actor’s intent, timing, and performance.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced cleanup artists.
• Ensure shots meet studio quality standards and production deadlines.
• Closely follow established pipelines, naming conventions, and file management practices.
• Coordinate with producers and supervisors to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an animator in a studio production pipeline.
• Previous experience in supervising or leading clean-up teams.
• Strong understanding of animation principles.
• Strong experience with cleaning motion capture data.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software: Maya, Motion Builder.
• Excellent English skills are a must – Spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a AAA game title or high-end film production.
• Familiarity with various animation scripts, rigging, and motion capture systems.
• Familiarity with communication tools such as Slack, JIRA, and Confluence.
