What you will do

• Uplevel the data science team by providing technical mentorship and hands-on leadership for complex problem resolution.
• Serve as a strategic thought leader for cross-functional teams to inform, influence, and execute strategy and investment decisions.
• Apply technical expertise in quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to develop product strategies.
• Identify and measure product success through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key product metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years industry experience and an advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, Computer Science, Economics).
• Experience communicating analysis results to leadership and cross-functional teams to influence strategy.
• Technical mentorship experience with machine learning and experimentation in an industry setting.
• Expertise in data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (R).

Nice to have

• Experience in schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience in technology, financial services, or a high-growth environment.
