What you will do

• Own production reliability on AWS, managing availability, latency, throughput, and incident response.
• Architect and operate scalable infrastructure using multi-AZ baselines and comprehensive DR strategies.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK with Git-based workflows.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies, including blue/green and canary releases.
• Manage AWS database operations for Aurora/RDS MySQL, including backup drills and performance troubleshooting.
• Drive FinOps initiatives to improve cloud cost visibility, tagging, and overall budget efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a similar DevOps or SRE role.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS production services (VPC, IAM, EC2, ALB/NLB, S3, CloudFront, Route53, etc.).
• Proven track record of designing high-load web systems with strict uptime requirements.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK) and scripting in Bash or Python.
• Experience with production MySQL on AWS and troubleshooting Nginx + PHP-FPM web stacks.
• Solid knowledge of container orchestration (ECS/EKS, Docker) and Linux networking fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the PHP ecosystem (Laravel, Symfony, Composer).
• Advanced MySQL internals, performance tuning, and proxying (e.g., ProxySQL).
• Experience with Serverless AWS services such as Lambda, SQS/SNS, and EventBridge.
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and chaos or load testing.
