Salary: Up to £80,000 base + 20% bonus

We’re partnering with a scaling SaaS enterprise undergoing a significant technology transformation and are looking to appoint a Lead Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping a core, revenue-critical platform.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of high-quality .NET solutions.
• Drive engineering best practices, including clean code, testability, CI/CD, and cloud standards.
• Mentor and develop engineers across mid and senior levels.
• Collaborate with Product to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Play a key role in modernization, platform evolution, and technical strategy.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET in SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Proven experience operating at Lead or Senior-Lead level.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures (Azure preferred).
• Experience building and supporting distributed, high-availability systems.
• Comfortable balancing hands-on development with leadership and influence.
