What you will do

• Act as primary point of contact and subject matter expert for business resilience efforts, driving organizational change and fostering continuous improvement.
• Establish standards for the Disaster Recovery program and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure plans are documented and tested.
• Lead the development of recovery strategies and communication between business and technology groups.
• Own the annual business continuity documentation process, including scheduling plan reviews, exercises, and updates.
• Define recovery benchmarks, establish requirements, and develop metrics for resilience efforts, providing executive leadership with real-time reporting.
• Oversee the coordination, validation, and summarization of business impact analysis (BIA) findings to inform recovery priorities.
• Provide expertise during business disruptions and supervise external consultants and junior Risk Management team members.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business continuity, IT Disaster Recovery or related fields.
• 5+ years of management experience in business continuity, Resilience, IT Disaster Recovery or related fields.
• Previous experience in a B2B SaaS or consulting firm is required.
• CBCP certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of business continuity and IT disaster recovery standards, including infrastructure recovery, network connectivity, and storage restoration.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
