Location: Fully remote within European time zone (±2h of Budapest/CET). Full-time employment is available in Hungary, or a freelance contract for those registered and able to invoice legally under Hungarian law.

What you will do

• Plan and manage FX tasks for a stylised animated series.
• Break down and prioritise work across a team of artists.
• Assign, brief, and review FX work in Houdini and related tools.
• Ensure consistency with creative vision and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors, production, and other departments.
• Provide feedback, support, and motivation to your team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior FX Artist.
• Strong knowledge of stylised FX workflows, especially in Houdini.
• Confident communicator with mentoring and planning skills.
• Familiarity with Nuke and FX production pipelines.
• Able to estimate effort and structure tasks efficiently.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Must be located in Hungary or within ±2 hours of CET.
• For freelancers: must be registered and able to invoice legally under Hungarian law.

Nice to have

• Experience in project planning or task estimation.
• Solid understanding of other 3D production areas (asset, lighting, animation).
• Experience presenting internally or to clients.
