Senior Business Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Business Analyst (Fintech): Defining the business logic for a BigData system and transferring user requirements to the team, with an accent on financial accounting conciliation and data analysis. Focus on creating Business Requirements Documentation and Functional Specification Documentation using Scrum methodology.

Location: This is a hybrid position based in Warsaw, Poland. Possibility to manage work-permits.

What you will do

• Define business logic of a BigData system to achieve project goals.
• Act as an expert across multiple projects, guiding teams and conducting business research/data analysis.
• Support business and functions in assessing current state operating models and translating them into target operating models.
• Gather and prepare business requirements from users.
• Create Test Plans and closely cooperate with software developers to perform testing and validations.
• Create Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and Functional Specification Documentation (FSDs).

Requirements

• Significant Business/Data Analysis or Product Management experience (5+ years).
• Experience working with software development teams and understanding the Product Development Cycle.
• Experience in working in SCRUM or another Agile framework.
• University background oriented to financial/business.
• SQL knowledge and Excel at advanced user level.
• Understanding of banking and/or financial services industry.
• Very good command of English (at least B2+).

Nice to have

• Understanding of Financial products in the wholesale banking/investment banking environment.
• Basic knowledge of Big Data/spark/cloud environments.
• Spanish language skills.
• Certification of Competency in Business/Data Analysis.
• Some knowledge of CI/CD, JIRA, Confluence, Automated Testing tools.
