Location: Hybrid near Irving, TX Center of Excellence with a flexible environment, must work US time zones.

Salary: $116,000–$164,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Drive operational excellence of a geographically dispersed Security Operations team.
• Serve as Incident Commander during security incident response.
• Continuously improve rapid and effective response to security incidents.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to detect, respond to, and remediate security issues.
• Mentor and guide team members to promote open communication and operational excellence.
• Lead automation initiatives to enhance analyst workflows and develop detection content aligned with cybersecurity frameworks.

Requirements

• Must be located in the US or work US time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading SOC, Hunt, or Incident Response teams.
• Expertise in security event analysis, incident investigation, and security tools (SIEM, EDR, web proxy, email security).
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and operational management skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

• Security certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCFA.
• Experience transforming and shaping security teams.
