What you will do

• Design and implement scalable IAM guardrails for cloud and corporate environments including identity governance and PAM.
• Architect and deploy automated pipelines for asset inventory and Software Bill of Materials generation.
• Lead technical strategy for data protection including encryption, key management, and tokenization.
• Develop secure-by-default configurations for containerized and IaC workflows.
• Partner with product teams to perform threat modeling, secure code reviews, and integrate automated security testing into CI/CD.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive security knowledge scaling across engineering.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, Texas, United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in technical security roles with 4+ years in cloud security at scale.
• Expert knowledge of cloud providers (AWS preferred) and security domains including IAM, KMS, network, and endpoint security.
• Experience with identity platforms, JML processes, and security automation using Python or Go.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical and executive stakeholders.
